CJ Bruton is a former professional basketball player from Australia. He was born on December 13, 1975, in New York City, but grew up in Brisbane, Australia. He played for multiple teams in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL), including the Brisbane Bullets, the Sydney Kings, and the New Zealand Breakers. He also played professionally in Europe and Asia, including stints in France, the Philippines, and Hong Kong.

Throughout his career, Bruton was known for his sharpshooting ability and clutch performance in important games. He won six NBL championships during his time playing in Australia, earning three Finals MVP awards. He was also a two-time Olympian, representing Australia in 2004 and 2008.

After retiring from playing basketball, Bruton has stayed involved in the sport as a coach and commentator. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the South East Melbourne Phoenix in the NBL.
